Keko, the renowned Ugandan rapper, is making a powerful comeback with her latest track, “Twazze Kukyakala,” featuring the legendary Moses Matovu, the lead singer and saxophonist of The Afrigo Band. This marks Keko’s first release since her return to Uganda in 2023 after spending several years in Canada.
“Twazze Kukyakala,” which translates to “We Came To Party,” captures the essence of enjoying a lively night out with friends. Keko’s sharp rap skills combined with Moses Matovu’s, also known as Papa Moi, soulful vocals bridge the gap between different musical eras, creating a track that appeals to a wide audience.
The song is designed to get listeners off their seats and onto the dance floor, celebrating the joy of the moment. Keko is confident that this track will become a staple in clubs, describing it as a song for people who might find themselves at a party but need a little push to start enjoying themselves.
With “Twazze Kukyakala,” Keko not only reaffirms her prowess in the rap genre but also signals her intent to climb back to the top of the Hip Hop scene.
