Bobi Wine Takes Revolutionary Message to Buikwe and Nakasongola, Postpones Gulu Visit Due to Karuma Bridge Closure
National Unity Platform (NUP) leader Bobi Wine has announced his upcoming stops on the #NUPCountryWideTour, continuing to spread his revolutionary message to Ugandans across the country. He will visit Buikwe on Thursday and Nakasongola on Friday, rallying supporters and addressing critical issues facing Uganda. The NUP leader’s itinerary is part of his ongoing campaign to inspire Ugandans towards a vision of change and a New Uganda.
However, Bobi Wine shared that the planned visit to Gulu has been postponed due to logistical challenges posed by the closure of Karuma Bridge. The bridge’s closure has left alternative routes in poor condition, making it difficult for his team and supporters to access the area safely. “We shall announce a new date for Gulu in due course,” he stated, assuring his supporters in northern Uganda that the tour will reach them soon.
Following Nakasongola, Bobi Wine’s tour will resume next week in other parts of Uganda. He is set to travel to Masindi, Pakwach, Koboko, and Madi-Okollo, continuing his mission to connect with Ugandans from all regions and promote NUP’s agenda for reform. The tour has drawn significant attention across Uganda, with growing support for the NUP leader’s call for justice, democracy, and economic renewal.
In each district, Bobi Wine and his team have been emphasizing the importance of unity, resilience, and commitment to building a New Uganda that respects human rights and economic opportunities for all citizens. His message has resonated with communities frustrated by poverty, corruption, and government repression, and he aims to strengthen support for NUP’s cause with each stop.
As the tour progresses, Bobi Wine’s supporters continue to turn out in large numbers, eager to engage in discussions about Uganda’s future and share their hopes for change. Despite challenges, including restrictions on NUP gatherings and security roadblocks, the #NUPCountryWideTour remains steadfast in reaching communities across Uganda.
