Born in Gafsa, deep in the desert of Tunisia, the founder of RA’ED Films grew up with humble beginnings shaped by strong family values, discipline, and a deep understanding of hard work. Those early lessons—stay focused, stay resilient, and never stop pushing forward—would later define a journey that crossed continents and cultures.

The filmmaking story began in 2017 in South Korea, not in a studio, but as a student simply trying to survive and earn income. The idea was straightforward: start a YouTube channel. But once the camera was in hand, it became clear that filmmaking was an entirely new world. With no prior knowledge, the learning process began—and quickly turned into passion. That moment marked the true beginning of a lifelong craft.

Language and culture posed real challenges. English is not the first language, nor the second—it is the third. Learning new languages, adapting to new cultures, and navigating unfamiliar systems required persistence and courage. Still, the dream remained larger than every obstacle.

After moving to Canada, encouragement from Vybekingz became the final push to turn passion into purpose. With one camera, relentless ambition, and long hours of hustle, RA’ED Films was officially born.

The business grew step by step. Early projects included events, real estate, interviews, nightlife, and festivals. Over time, this work led to collaborations with major organizations such as Island Festival London, Lux Carnival, and large Caribbean events including Caribana. Growth accelerated further with sponsorships from Freewell Gear and Sandmarc, providing tools and support to elevate production quality.

That journey reached a defining milestone in 2026.

Earlier listings had named RA’ED Films as a Top 3 Finalist, making the final win an even more powerful and unexpected achievement.

“I never expected to win,” the filmmaker says. “This belongs to my clients—the people who trusted me, believed in my work, voted for me, and shared honest feedback. I am truly grateful.”

With that trust comes responsibility. RA’ED Films has committed to maintaining the highest standards and continuing to deliver strong visual representation for businesses, brands, and communities.

Now, the vision is expanding beyond individual success. The company is growing a team, already working with part-time collaborators, with the long-term goal of building a strong workforce and future partners—offering others the same opportunities once given.
