Arsenal Targets Juventus Striker Dusan Vlahovic as Mikel Arteta’s Priority Signing
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has set his sights on securing the services of 23-year-old Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, making him a priority target for the Gunners in the upcoming transfer window.
According to reports from Football Transfers, Arsenal has been monitoring Vlahovic for several years, and Arteta is determined to bolster his attacking options with the Serbian international as the preferred candidate for the number nine position. The Gunners are reportedly considering a move for Vlahovic in the near future.

Vlahovic, who began his career at Partizan and later joined Fiorentina in 2018, made a switch to Juventus in the winter of 2022. Despite some notable performances, the 23-year-old has not consistently met expectations since joining the Italian club.
While Vlahovic is under contract with Juventus until the summer of 2026, there have been indications of a potential transfer. In the summer, Juventus reportedly offered Vlahovic to Chelsea as part of a swap deal for Romelu Lukaku, expressing their readiness to sell and demanding an additional €40 million from the Blues.
Arsenal’s interest in Vlahovic dates back to the winter of 2022 when they attempted to sign him, but he opted to stay in Italy and joined Juventus. Despite the previous setback, Mikel Arteta remains an avid admirer of the talented striker and envisions him as the ideal choice for the number nine position at Arsenal.
While Gabriel Jesus has been a valuable signing for the Gunners, Arteta is reportedly seeking a more traditional and reliable striker due to fitness concerns with Jesus. Arsenal is expected to make a concerted effort to secure Vlahovic’s signature, but a successful deal will likely depend on presenting a substantial offer that aligns with Juventus’ valuation of the player.
