Kalifah AgaNaga Downplays Fik Gaza’s Impact Ahead of London Performance
In a recent interview discussing their upcoming joint performance in London, Bad Character Records artist Saddat Mukiibi, better known as Kalifah AgaNaga, made dismissive remarks about fellow performer Fik Gaza. When asked about his enthusiasm for traveling with the trending artist Fik Gaza, AgaNaga minimized the significance of Gaza’s current popularity.
AgaNaga likened his support for Fik Gaza to the help he previously extended to artists like Fresh Kid and Mulekwa, suggesting that Gaza’s success is largely due to support from more established artists rather than his own merits. He described Gaza and others as “lame,” indicating that their talents are not self-sufficient for rising to stardom.
“You said he is trending? I don’t think so. We just help such guys like you see we did with Fresh Kid and Mulekwa because those guys are lame. Don’t you see him with a tooth-gap?” AgaNaga commented, further trivializing Gaza’s individual achievements.
He also stressed that the upcoming trip to London is strictly professional. “This time as we go to London, this is strictly business and music, not having squads,” AgaNaga stated, dismissing any notions of personal conflicts or alliances affecting their performance.
Fik Gaza, a new-generation artist known for both his music and his involvement in controversial stories within the industry, recently announced plans for a concert before the year’s end, signaling his rising profile in the music scene despite AgaNaga’s criticisms.
