In an unexpected blend of Halloween and February vibes, Kanye West was spotted donning two eerie masks while shooting a video with Playboi Carti in Los Angeles over the weekend. The Chicago rap legend, accompanied by his wife Bianca Censori, was captured wearing a Michael Myers rubber mask with a Jason Voorhees-style hockey mask layered over it.

The spooky ensemble was completed with West and Censori sharing a car with Playboi Carti and Luka Sabbat, an actor and model. Reports suggest that the crew also made a pit stop at the birthday celebration for Travis Scott’s children, Stormi and Aire. However, it remains unclear whether Kanye maintained his creepy masks during the festivities.

While details about the video shoot are limited, Playboi Carti is anticipated to feature on Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming album, “Vultures Volume 1,” specifically on a track titled “Fuk Sumn,” featuring Quavo as well.

This isn’t the first time Kanye West has showcased a hockey mask in public; he previously sported one during a surprise appearance at Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus Tour in Orlando. During the impromptu performance, West treated the audience to a selection of his classic hits and performed his latest single, “Vultures,” alongside Ty Dolla $ign and Bump J.

While on stage, Kanye West confirmed that “Vultures Volume 1,” the initial installment of his collaborative trilogy with Ty Dolla $ign, is slated for release on February 9. The subsequent two parts are scheduled for March 8 and April 5, respectively. Taking the stage, Travis Scott expressed gratitude to his mentor Kanye West, dubbing him “the greatest of all time” and acknowledging the doors West opened for him.
