Local Council Vice-chairperson Fined Nine Goats for Adultery in Kasese District

In Kabughabugha village, Rukoki sub-county, Kasese district, a member of the Local Council One court, Mr. Zeverio Mugisa, the area vice-chairperson, has been fined nine goats by the court for admitting to allegations of adultery. The charges stemmed from his involvement with the wife of Edward Kighoma, a casual laborer in Mbarara city. Mugisa pleaded guilty, and Tsongo Gideon, the secretary for youth, issued a stern warning to local leaders, urging them to avoid engaging in adultery.
