Maro Unveils Ambitious Plans for 2024: Two-Day Concert on the Horizon
Uganda’s self-proclaimed RnB Kyabazinga, Ronaldo Magada, popularly known as Maro, is setting the stage for a grand musical extravaganza in the year 2024. Maro’s announcement adds his name to the growing list of Ugandan artists who have confirmed their intentions to stage concerts in the upcoming year. Notable among these performers are Lydia Jazmine and Fik Fameica, who have gone a step further by not only disclosing their plans but also locking in specific dates and venues for their shows.
The talented “Kyokoba” singer is currently in search of an agency that he can collaborate with to bring his musical vision to life. Maro expressed his enthusiasm for this project by stating, “I am looking for an agency, marketing (events/concert to be exact). It’s been a while, and I think a two-day event won’t hurt my fans! Tag or hit my DM ASAP. #2024.”

Maro’s previous concert in the heart of Kampala was staged approximately two years ago when he hosted the memorable “Anjagala” concert at the luxurious Mestil Hotel. The event, which coincided with Valentine’s Day in 2020, was a resounding success, leaving his fans yearning for more of his soulful melodies.
As the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted the entertainment industry and shifted the dynamics of live performances, Maro explored the possibility of hosting an online concert, which he hinted at through his social media platforms. However, due to various challenges, his desire to stage a virtual show remained unfulfilled.
