Masaka Events Promoter DJ Matsiko, Remanded Over Alleged Assault

The Masaka-based events promoter, Salongo DJ Matsiko, known for his previous altercation with Alien Skin at Calendar Hotel in Makindye back in April, has been remanded on charges of assaulting another events promoter, Robert Sendagire. The incident reportedly took place at an event, where Matsiko is accused of severely beating Sendagire.

According to recent reports, Matsiko was remanded on Friday, 24th November 2023, following a ruling by the Kyotera Chief Magistrates court. The charges include assault, and Matsiko has been sent to prison until 13th December.

The court proceedings revealed that Matsiko had allegedly not honored previous court summons, leading to his arrest. His return to court on 13th December will determine whether he spends the festive season behind bars or is granted bail for the charges brought against him.
