The Outrageous Demand

In today’s parliamentary session, Mr. Yoweri Museveni’s regime shamelessly requested 232 billion shillings under the guise of “classified expenditure”—supposedly for his official residence. But let’s be clear: what is “classified” about a man and his wife living in a government house?

This isn’t new. Last year, the same “classified” budget ballooned to 425 billion shillings—enough to build dozens of hospitals or pay thousands of teachers’ salaries. Yet, while Ugandans suffer, Mr. Museveni’s family enjoys obscene luxury.

The Ugly Truth: Legalized Theft

The law (Presidential Movements and Benefits Act) provides for official residences—not blank checks for one man’s extravagance.

Remember Mr. Museveni’s own words as Deputy Inspector General of Government:
“Corruption is licensed for some, but not for others.”

Now we see who the “some” are—himself and his cronies.

The Reality for Ordinary Ugandans

A mother in Katwe sells her body for 5,000 shillings to feed her children.

A boda-boda rider works 18-hour days to earn 10,000 shillings.

Teachers and nurses go six months without pay.

Meanwhile, in State House:

232 billion for “classified” spending

Billions more on private jets and luxury cars

Zero accountability

Parliament’s Betrayal

Today’s debate exposed NRM MPs as spineless enablers:

They rubber-stamp every illegal budget.

They cheer while Ugandans starve.

They have become millionaires on stolen funds.

One opposition MP told them directly:
“You’re called fools because you let them steal, then clap like trained monkeys.”

The Culprits

@KagutaMuseveni – The architect of this looting

@AnitahAmong – The Speaker enabling the theft

@NRMOnline MPs – The traitors selling out Uganda

This Is Why Uganda Stays Poor

While one in three Ugandans survives on less than $1 a day:

Mr. Museveni’s daughter shops in Dubai.

His son builds military empires.

His wife flies in private jets.

This isn’t leadership—it’s organized crime.
