Toronto, Canada – In a significant development within the Toronto Ugandan Event Organizers   , a new interim committee has been officially voted into place to steer the activities and events of the community amidst escalating tensions among local promoters. The newly elected committee members include Pastor Eddie Jjumba as Chairman, Mrs Ssebulime Vice Chairperson , Hope Alice Luyima as Secretary, Mr. Kalunga as Treasurer, and Pink as the Second Secretary and others . This move aims to bring stability and transparency to the community’s organizational efforts after a period marked by internal strife, backstabbing, and blackmail.

The Toronto Ugandan community has long been a vibrant and cohesive group, with a history of organizing successful cultural, social, and charitable events. However, in recent years , the community has been rocked by increasing reports of conflicts among event organizers. Allegations of backstabbing, where individuals have undermined each other’s efforts for personal gain, and blackmail, where sensitive information was allegedly used to manipulate decisions, have surfaced, casting a shadow over the community’s unity.

These issues have not only created a toxic environment but have also led to the disintegration of trust among key players in the community. As a result, the effectiveness of event planning and execution has been severely compromised, leading to declining participation and engagement from community members.

In response to these growing concerns, influential members of the community called for an urgent meeting to address the underlying issues and chart a path forward. The meeting, which was attended by a cross-section of the community, provided a platform for airing grievances and discussing potential solutions. It became clear that the only way to restore order and confidence was to establish an official interim committee that could lead with integrity, fairness, and transparency.
