The People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) has joined family, friends, and the wider democratic movement in mourning the passing of Comrade Beinomugisha Adios Denmark, a man described by many as “born and raised by the struggle.” His life’s journey was intertwined with the fight for freedom, justice, and equality in Uganda, leaving behind a legacy of courage, resilience, and vision.
The somber farewell was attended by prominent leaders from across the political spectrum, all paying their respects to a man whose dedication to the cause touched many. Among the mourners were the former Leader of Opposition and Gulu Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Betty Aol Ochan; the Deputy Lord Mayor of Kampala, Hon. Doreen Nyanjura; Hon. Mwijukye Francis, MP for Buhweju; and Hon. Namanya Naboth, MP for Rubabo.

Other key figures in attendance included former MPs and PFF leaders Hon. Betty Muzanira, Hon. Roland Kaginda, Hon. Turyamuhweza Fred, as well as Governor Katembeya Stanley, alongside many comrades and supporters who gathered to celebrate his life.
In their tributes, leaders praised Comrade Beinomugisha for his unwavering commitment to the struggle, his deep sense of service to the people, and his ability to inspire hope in the face of adversity. “We have lost a resilient fighter and a visionary man,” one speaker remarked, capturing the shared grief of the movement.
Comrade Beinomugisha’s passing leaves a deep void within the PFF and the broader struggle for democracy in Uganda. Yet, his life remains a powerful reminder of the sacrifice and courage needed to keep the flame of freedom burning.
As mourners laid him to rest, the call to continue his work echoed strongly — a call to stand firm against oppression and to honor his memory by pursuing the ideals he lived and fought for.
