Rick Ross Hints at MMG Reunion With Wale for Upcoming Meek Mill Project
Rick Ross dropped some hints suggesting a possible MMG (Maybach Music Group) reunion with Wale on the cards for his joint project with Meek Mill, “Too Good To Be True,” set to release on November 10.
During a visit to The Morning Hustle on Thursday (October 26) to promote the impending project, Ross teased a possible reunion with Wale. “Wale actually working on this project,” Ross said, pointing out that Wale is at Def Jam Records. When prodded about the likelihood of Wale featuring on the project, Ross responded, “It’s a good chance. You know how we get down.”
Wale, who signed to MMG in 2011, has previously collaborated with Rick Ross on Port of Miami 2‘s “Act A Fool” in 2019.
While Wale, Meek Mill, and Rick Ross have had moments of tension in the past, including social media backlashes and public spats, it seems the trio might be coming together for the first time since 2019, marking a potential reunion. This could add a fresh dimension to the upcoming joint project by Ross and Meek Mill.
Timbaland, after an early listen, praised the forthcoming project, labeling it a “masterpiece.” He highlighted the authenticity of Ross and Meek’s styles, emphasizing that the project captures the essence of what the fans have been yearning for from these two prolific artists.
