The initiative, championed by Budadiri West Member of Parliament Nathan Nandala Mafabi, secured approval last year, with construction slated to commence in the financial year 2023/2024.

The current focus is on the titling process before initiating construction activities, as proceeding without proper land documentation poses potential ownership disputes in the future.

Geoffrey Wamanyala, the Assistant Chief Administrative Officer of Sironko, urged the community to support the development initiative. He assured that once the land titling is complete, funds from the ministry will be released promptly, and construction will commence. Bidding processes are already underway to facilitate a swift start to the construction phase.

Herbert Musika, the secretary for social services at Sironko district, emphasized that the government has allocated the school. However, the delay primarily stems from the titling process, a necessary step before construction can proceed.
