Steven Kabuye : State Department Calls for Investigation into Stabbing of Prominent Ugandan Activist

The U.S. State Department has urged the Ugandan government to launch a thorough investigation into the recent stabbing of a well-known LGBTQ+ activist Steven Kabuye. The attack comes in the wake of increased hostility towards the LGBTQ+ community in Uganda, following the passage of the country’s controversial Anti-Homosexuality Act.
