In his opening speech, Sheikh Shakhboot emphasized the immediate need to stop the violence and facilitate humanitarian aid delivery. He stressed the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to find effective solutions to help Sudan overcome its ongoing challenges.

The UAE Minister of State highlighted the critical situation faced by the Sudanese people, including a worsening humanitarian crisis and the imminent threat of famine. He called for increased diplomatic and humanitarian efforts from the international community to address the conflict and its humanitarian impact, providing an urgent and coordinated response to the needs of the Sudanese population.

Sheikh Shakhboot also outlined the tangible actions taken by the UAE to mitigate the humanitarian crisis in Sudan and neighboring countries. He emphasized the UAE leadership’s commitment to providing humanitarian assistance and relief aid.
