Billboard’s Artist 100 chart, introduced almost a decade ago to track an artist’s success across various metrics in a given week, has witnessed an unparalleled milestone. Drake, the most commercially dominant artist of the last decade, has officially spent a remarkable 500 weeks on the Artist 100 chart, making him the first artist to achieve this feat. Impressively, this week’s edition marks the 500th chart release, and Drizzy stands as the sole artist to appear on every single Artist 100 chart since its inception.
Drake’s enduring presence on the chart reflects not only the magnitude of his commercial dominance but also the longevity of his impact. Notably, only Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Bruno Mars come within 25 weeks of Drake’s record-setting tenure. Despite landing at number 4 on this week’s chart, it is evident that Drake is unlikely to fade from the Artist 100 anytime soon.
While speculation circulates that Drake might be one of the artists targeted by Megan Thee Stallion in “HISS,” he has chosen to remain silent on the matter, refraining from commenting on the social media buzz. Despite the ongoing discussions, Drake has been visible in public, attending events such as a Knicks/Heat game with Adonis, partying in New York with Cash Cobain and Fivio Foreign, and spending time with Lil Yachty in various New York City clubs.
