Earlier this month, Benzino expressed his concerns on social media about his daughter Coi Leray’s collaboration with Busta Rhymes in the music video for “Luxury Life.” According to Benzino, Busta Rhymes didn’t reach out to him before filming the video, raising issues with a grown man appearing alongside his daughter in a provocative manner.

Responding to the criticism during a recent appearance on Way Up With Angela Yee, Busta Rhymes defended his actions. He emphasized that if Benzino had concerns about the video, he should have directly communicated with him rather than addressing the issue on social media. Busta Rhymes also brought up their past disputes and urged Benzino to handle conflicts face-to-face instead of resorting to public platforms.

“My thing first and foremost is Benzino has my number and he knows how to reach me,” Busta Rhymes stated. “You ain’t gotta address me about nothing on no social media ‘cause you got my phone number. I’ve never had to address him about a problem, and there’s been plenty of different issues that we’ve actually went through that led to actual violence that we were able to resolve civil and respectfully.”

Busta Rhymes emphasized the importance of resolving conflicts privately, maintaining a code of ethics that involves direct communication rather than public disputes. He urged Benzino to follow the same principles they had adhered to in the past. Share your thoughts on Busta Rhymes’ response to Benzino’s criticism in the comments section below.
