Beenie Gunter was recently arrested in Dubai after chaos erupted at his show in Abu Dhabi, leading to property damage. Nickie Berry, his baby mama, revealed that he was detained at the Dubai airport on their way back to Uganda and was asked to cover the damages caused by the disruptions. Despite not being involved in the fights, Gunter, acting as a mediator, was also attacked by the troublemakers.

According to Berry, the conflict originated between promoters from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with the latter allegedly hiring individuals to disrupt the show due to internal disagreements, resulting in significant damage. UNMF President Eddy Kenzo is leading efforts to secure Gunter’s release and bring him back to Uganda. Artists like Rickman, Lydia Jazmine, and Spice Diana have joined the ‘#FreeBeenieGunter’ campaign on social media to advocate for his freedom.
