Last week, the musical duo Geoffrey Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu marked a decade of marital bliss. The event saw the presence of several musicians, including NUP President Bobi Wine, B2C singers, and band artist Chosen Becky.
Lutaaya shared that their journey had its share of challenges, making the anniversary a meaningful milestone. In an interview with Spark TV, he emphasized the importance of celebrating enduring commitment.
“Marriage isn’t a walk in the park due to its challenges, but when you navigate those hurdles together for a significant period, it’s essential to commemorate the journey,” he expressed.
Highlighting the blessings in their union, Lutaaya mentioned their children and various achievements, attributing these to the strength of their marriage.
“We’ve been blessed with children, and God has favored us with bright kids. Many dreams we had as a couple have materialized through our marriage,” he added.
Namatovu echoed the sentiment, stating that the anniversary celebration symbolized a renewal of their bond and a reaffirmation that they are committed to each other for life.
