In a compelling address to journalists at Hilton Hotels in Toronto today, Honorable Joel Senyonyi, a prominent figure within Uganda’s National Unity Platform (NUP), laid out an inspiring vision for the future of Uganda under NUP leadership. The event marked a significant moment as NUP Canada readies itself to host the much-anticipated 2023 NUP Canada Convention.

Hon. Senyonyi began by expressing his conviction in NUP’s preparedness to assume the presidency of the Republic of Uganda. He emphasized the party’s commitment to transforming the country’s infrastructure and economy once in power, bringing about positive change that benefits all Ugandans.

“As NUP, we are ready, and we are prepared. We have a comprehensive plan to revitalize Uganda’s infrastructure, boost our economy, and create opportunities for all citizens,” declared Hon. Senyonyi.

The address came at a crucial juncture, with NUP Canada gearing up to host the 2023 NUP Canada Convention from September 15th to 17th, 2023, at the prestigious Hilton Hotels. This convention is poised to be a pivotal moment for the NUP diaspora community.

Hon. Senyonyi further underscored the importance of adhering to the rule of law, highlighting that NUP supporters are steadfast in their commitment to peaceful and lawful engagement. He made it clear that neither intimidation nor attempts to stifle their voices would deter the NUP from its mission.

“We, as NUP supporters, follow the law. We remain undaunted in our quest for a better Uganda. No amount of intimidation can deter us from our resolve,” affirmed Hon. Senyonyi.
