Ice Spice recently took a moment to address any confusion surrounding the sexuality of her in-house producer, RIOTUSA, following a fan’s inquiry.

A Twitter user, Island Boy, shared a screenshot of an unanswered direct message he sent to RIOT, expressing frustration at being ignored. Ice Spice swiftly responded to the tweet, explaining that RIOT “don’t like boys.” The exchange was met with humor as Island Boy jokingly claimed he was hacked, accompanied by the Marge Simpson hiding meme.

RIOTUSA, whose father is the renowned DJ and radio personality DJ Enuff, and Ice Spice first crossed paths as college students at SUNY. RIOT has been instrumental in producing Ice Spice’s breakout hit “Munch” along with several other tracks.

In a live Q&A session in December, RIOTUSA hinted at new music collaborations with Ice Spice, including her debut album slated for release in 2024. He also discussed his experience working with Nicki Minaj on tracks like “Princess Diana” and “Barbie World,” praising her as a legend and welcoming presence in the creative process.

While Ice Spice has yet to drop a full album, her EP “Like..?” released in early 2023 featured hit singles that propelled her to stardom. RIOTUSA produced her latest track “Think U The Shit (Fart),” which recently became her highest-charting solo track, debuting at No. 37 on the Hot 100 chart. Despite this achievement, her collaboration with Taylor Swift on “Karma” remains her highest-charting track overall, peaking at No. 2 on the same chart.
