Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign Reportedly Delay Joint Album Once Again

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have reportedly postponed the release of their joint album, and the scheduled listening event has been canceled without clear information on the album’s eventual release date.
Last month, Ty Dolla $ign teased the collaboration by clearing his Instagram and posting a teaser without divulging much, announcing a listening event with the text: “¥$ multi-stadium listening event November 3rd.”
However, according to Billboard’s report on Wednesday (November 1), the album’s launch and the planned listening event have been canceled, yet again without providing specific reasons. Even though an official release date was not confirmed by the duo, fans anticipated the album’s release following the hinted gathering.
This postponement marks the second time the project rollout has been halted. Initially, a large-scale concert in Italy, expected to attract over 100,000 attendees, was organized to showcase the album. However, it was canceled, reportedly due to complications with the venue, just prior to its scheduled occurrence towards the end of October.

The distribution of the album is also reportedly causing a delay, with the duo seeking a company to release their music. Some major label executives have purportedly turned down the opportunity due to past controversial remarks by Kanye West. Rick Ross, showing interest in the album, has indicated a possibility of signing Kanye to Maybach Music Group for releasing the joint album with Ty Dolla $ign.
The collaborative efforts between Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign were first mentioned by Kanye during a 2018 interview with Power 106. West expressed admiration for Ty’s artistry and signaled his intent to support and collaborate, citing Ty as one of the strongest artists in the music industry.
