During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday (October 30), Diddy playfully responded to the recent claims made by his former bodyguard, Gene Deal, hinting at a confrontation with Will Smith over Jennifer Lopez. However, he managed to sidestep addressing the accuracy of the story.
When asked about the claim during the interview, the 53-year-old music mogul initially looked stern but then responded, “Yo, this show has gotten crazier since the last time I was here… you really heard that? I donât know what youâre talkinâ about. Jimmy, I thought we was friends.”
Deal previously brought up the alleged incident during an interview with The Art of Dialogue last month, recalling an event at the Four Seasons during a birthday party for Ben Affleck thrown by Matt Damon. According to Deal, Puff had suspicions about Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smithâs intentions toward Lopez and signaled a physical response, asking Deal to stand by.
