Keke Palmer Granted Restraining Order and Sole Custody in Alleged Domestic Abuse Case
In a recent legal development, actress and singer Keke Palmer has been awarded a restraining order against her ex-partner, Darius Jackson, along with sole custody of their eight-month-old son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson.
As revealed in court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Jackson is mandated to maintain a distance of 100 yards from Palmer at all times, and he is denied visitation rights with their son, who was born in February.
The decision came after Palmer filed a petition, stating that she terminated their two-year relationship in October. Allegedly, Jackson appeared unannounced at Palmer’s residence a month later, demanding to take their son to a football game. Palmer refused, leading to an altercation during which Jackson is accused of assaulting her. Security camera footage of the incident has been included in the restraining order application.
According to Palmer’s filing, the abuse extends beyond the mentioned incident, involving physical, emotional, and manipulative behavior. In one instance in early 2022, Palmer claims that Jackson slammed her to the floor and physically assaulted her.
Furthermore, Palmer accuses Jackson of violent behavior towards their infant son when he became upset, stating, “Darius started getting rough with Leo physically, and I stepped in to make sure Darius would not hurt him.” Palmer alleges that Jackson hit her in the head during this altercation.
