Ivan Kisakye: From Media to Presidential Aspirant

Ivan Kisakye, born in 1992, is a journalist with a rich history in the Ugandan media landscape and a presidential aspirant for the term spanning from 2026 to 2031. Kisakye’s journey is one of resilience and determination. Despite financial constraints and personal challenges, he pursued his education diligently, eventually earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Makerere University.

Kisakye’s media career began in 2010 with Imo-Live TV and spanned various prominent stations including Top TV, Top Radio, and Salt Media. His programs, such as ‘Street Selection’, ‘Street Quiz’, and ‘Ghetto Stories’, connected him with the grassroots, where he addressed the concerns of ordinary Ugandans and provided solutions to their problems.
