Martha Mukisa Expresses Support for Kenzo’s Relationship with Minister Fiona Nyamutoro but Cautions Against Missteps

Martha Mukisa recently voiced her support for fellow artist Kenzo’s relationship with Junior Minerals Minister Fiona Nyamutoro, praising the union while issuing a gentle warning about potential pitfalls. Mukisa expressed her faith in Kenzo’s character, describing him as “a very intelligent and humble man” who is also “hardworking and a family guy.”

“All I can do is root for him, but if he messes up, I will be very upset with him,” Mukisa stated, highlighting her emotional investment in Kenzo’s personal happiness.

Mukisa also had high praise for Nyamutoro, Kenzo’s partner, calling her a “perfect woman” who is “powerful and very beautiful.” The relationship, which has made headlines recently, comes nearly five years after Kenzo’s dramatic separation from his previous partner, Rema Namakula.

Kenzo, who is also the President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, revealed that he and Minister Nyamutoro have a child together. The couple’s relationship, which began discreetly, was kept out of the public eye until rumors began circulating last October. The relationship became more publicly acknowledged following Nyamutoro’s appointment to the cabinet in March this year.

Reflecting on their long-standing connection, which includes Nyamutoro’s involvement in his music career and his 2022 festival at the Kololo Independence Grounds, Kenzo shared in a recent interview that their relationship could have remained private for 20 years if not for the public nature of Nyamutoro’s new role.
