Suge Knight, the former Death Row Records mogul, has made controversial claims regarding the late Andre Harrell, former boss of Diddy’s Uptown Records, and hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, suggesting they were involved in a secret affair.

During a recent episode of Collect Call With Suge Knight, streamed via Dave Mays’ Breakbeat Media, Knight alleged that Harrell and Simmons were in a romantic relationship. He claimed that both men engaged in such behavior but did not openly acknowledge their sexual preferences.

According to Knight, the relationship between Harrell and Simmons influenced Diddy’s actions, insinuating a connection between their alleged affair and recent accusations against Diddy.

Knight stated, “Andre Harrell and Russell Simmons – everybody know… They might not wanna say it, [but] they know they was lovers. They participated in those types of things.”

He continued, “These men in the industry don’t consider theyself gay. They consider themselves messing with women, but they really don’t like the women because they beat the shit out of them… It gotta stop. But so I don’t get sued, I gotta use the word ‘allegedly.'”

The feud between Suge Knight and Diddy is well-documented, with Knight frequently taking jabs at his rival. In December, Knight shared a photo featuring himself with Diddy’s son, Justin, from the peak of the East Coast-West Coast feud. The photo also depicted Justin’s mother, Misa Hylton, who was a stylist for artists like Mary J. Blige and Lil’ Kim.

DJ Quik previously revealed that Misa Hylton associated with Knight and the Death Row crew during the infamous 1995 Source Awards. Quik disclosed this information during an appearance on the Questlove Supreme podcast in 2019, shedding light on the dynamics between figures from rival factions within the hip-hop community.
