Travis Kelce Describes Christmas as Challenging Amid Chiefs’ Loss, Finds Joy in Family and Taylor Swift
During the latest episode of his podcast “New Heights” with his brother Jason, Travis Kelce candidly expressed his feelings about Christmas, calling it “f*cking the worst, not gonna lie.” However, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end clarified that his sentiment was tied to the team’s 20-14 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Kelce admitted, “I’ve had better, but it ended well, with good Christmas cheer and great people. That’s always gonna save Christmas, no matter if you lose to the Raiders or not.” Notably, Taylor Swift was present at the game, donning a Santa hat featuring Kelce’s jersey number, 87.
Post-game, Kelce shared a heartwarming Christmas story involving Taylor Swift’s brother, Austin. Austin gifted Kelce a VHS copy of “Little Giants,” one of his all-time favorite movies, in a Santa sack. Kelce humorously remarked, “He actually made me feel like a child because his gift to me was straight out of the bag, in the Santa sack. He whipped it out and handed me a VHS of my favorite football movie of all time, ‘Little Giants.'” The 1994 sports comedy features Rick Moranis and Ed O’Neill.
Despite the Chiefs’ Christmas day loss, they maintain first place in the AFC West with a 9-6 record. However, they currently hold the third spot in the conference. In the upcoming final two games against the Bengals and Chargers, the Chiefs aim to secure their playoff spot. Stay tuned for more updates on Travis Kelce and his connection with Taylor Swift.
