Ikara has been arguably the best goalkeeper in the first round of the season and has garnered attention of the Venoms as well as his former side KCCA.

He made six clean sheets and got two Man of the Match accolades in the 13 games he played for BUL in the opening half of the season.

It is a public secret KCCA are in search of a goalkeeper heading into the second round of the season.

The Kasasiro Boys have already missed out on Richard Anyama who recently signed for UPDF FC despite an interest from KCCA.

It should also be remembered that Ikara previously played for KCCA between 2017 -19 but his spell was not a memorable one.

It is also understood that Vipers want to make changes in their goalkeeping department hence the interest in Ikara.

The lanky shot stopper rose to limelight in 2016/17 with Kirinya Jinja SS which later reincarnated to Busoga United.

He also had spells at Mbarara City (on loan from KCCA) and Police FC before joining BUL FC on a two year contract which bound to expire at the end of the season.
