Uganda premier league log leaders BUL FC have shown the exit door to four of their first team fringe players in a bid to strengthen their squad ahead of the second half of the season.

They will be vying to dethrone Vipers SC who are trailing them by 3 points at the top after the first round break.

Swift Sports has reliably been told that among the released is experienced defender Richard Ayiko who joined the club in August 2021 under Alex Isabirye.

He has also featured for KCCA FC, Onduparaka and Maroons FC on two stints.

Others are striker Samuel Kayongo Sekamatte who joined two years ago from Arua Hill and former Busoga United attacker Vincent Zziwa who failed to command a starting place despite linking up with former coach Abbey Kikomeko with whom they worked at Busoga and Jinja S.S.

Winger Joshua Okiror has also been asked to walk on a bosman and will be a free agent in the current transfer window.

BUL are understood to have listened to offers for goalkeeper Thomas Ikara who has attracted interest from Vipers SC and KCCA FC.
