B.G. and Boosie Badazz, two Louisiana rap icons known for their mutual respect and friendship, recently shared a heartfelt moment during a gathering in Las Vegas.

The emotional reunion took place on Thursday (February 8) at the Wet Las Vegas Adult Ent + After Hours nightclub, where fans captured touching scenes of the two rappers embracing each other. Later that night, B.G., a member of the legendary Hot Boys group, took to the stage at the venue, with fellow rapper 21 Savage among the audience.

Last year, B.G. had announced that he was collaborating on a full-length project with Boosie Badazz, who had been a staunch supporter during B.G.’s time in prison. During a Zoom call in mid-October, the two artists, along with DJ Tony Neal, discussed their upcoming album, with B.G. expressing gratitude for Boosie’s support during his incarceration.

“We got an album coming together,” B.G. announced during the call. “I just wanted to come through, give him a shout out, man, let him know I appreciate everything he did for me while I was down, y’know what I’m sayin? Dude wrapped his arm around me like a real G supposed to, man, y’know what I’m sayin? That’s my brother, man.”

Prior to this announcement, B.G. had returned to the studio and recorded his first post-prison verses, reuniting with Boosie for the track “My Dawg” in late September. In the song, B.G. expresses gratitude for Boosie’s unwavering support during his time behind bars, highlighting their deep bond and friendship.

“Lot of people fucked me up and went to sleep on me/ Same ones used to come around and leach on me/ I’m walking light I got police on me/ But I’m still taking chances with that heat on me/ Used to get my motivation from my kids and fans/ Anything I ever needed I could get from my man,” B.G. raps.
