In a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Budden hinted at a potential return to the music scene, suggesting that he might be working on new material alongside acclaimed producer Just Blaze.

During the podcast, Budden expressed his desire to step away from discussing fellow artists and focus on his own craft once again. He revealed that he recently reached out to Just Blaze, indicating a potential collaboration in the works.

“I’m done talking about these rappers. Imma do it myself. I’ll do it myself. Imma listen to what Just Blaze has in there that might make somebody wanna rap,” shared Budden with his co-hosts.

When questioned about his return to rapping, Budden responded, “Then I’m laying a 15-minute record for sale for $20. Might be an EP, but you gon’ get this first track for $20.” However, he emphasized that fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for an imminent release, as both he and Just Blaze have commitments to their respective careers.

In 2018, Joe Budden officially announced his retirement from rap to fully dedicate himself to podcasting and media personality roles. His last solo album, “Rage & The Machine,” was released in 2016.

Budden’s recent decision to remain silent on a fellow artist’s situation sparked public backlash. He explained that legal considerations and a desire to avoid misrepresentation in the media were factors behind his choice to refrain from commenting on certain issues.

Despite his hiatus from rap, it seems Joe Budden might be gearing up for a noteworthy comeback, leaving fans eager to see what he and Just Blaze have in store.
