Whoopi Goldberg firmly dispelled rumors suggesting her presence on Jeffrey Epstein’s private island during a recent episode of “The View.” The hosts of the talk show had been discussing the unsealed cache of documents this week, which exposed various celebrities, politicians, and others as associated with the late sex offender.
Addressing the rumor head-on, Goldberg stated, “Apparently, they said I was on the island. And I donāt go anywhere! So Iām just going to say ā and thereās just been a lot of stuff recently, I donāt know what Iāve done to anybody ā but apparently there are a lot of the [tabloid] sites [and] people donāt realize they can be harmful.”
Goldberg took the opportunity to debunk several other rumors circulating about her. “I never got kicked out of Gordon Ramsayās restaurant,” she clarified. “I never got kicked out of Guy Fieriās restaurant, I didnāt get kicked off Bill Maherās show. I didnāt get into a fight with Oprah backstage here at The View, I mean, it just goes. Itās insane. It goes on and on and on.
Epstein, a convicted sex offender, is notorious for allegedly bringing young women and underage girls to the island of Little Saint James for influential friends and business associates. He died in prison in 2019, an apparent suicide, after being arrested on federal sex trafficking charges. As the unsealed documents continue to reveal more about Epstein’s network, stay tuned for further updates.
