Beyoncé seems to have addressed recent criticism regarding her appearance at the premiere of her Renaissance concert film in Los Angeles. The Grammy-winning artist faced comparisons to Kim Kardashian and accusations of appearing “white” due to her outfit and lighter complexion. In an Instagram post on Wednesday (November 29), Beyoncé shared several pictures dressed in all white alongside her husband JAY-Z.

While the post lacked a specific caption or explanation, many followers interpreted it as a subtle response to the criticism. Fans praised Beyoncé’s elegant choice of white attire, with one person noting, “One thing about it, my girl, she never responds to the haters directly, but it’s ALWAYS going to be a way she clears without saying a WORD! #BrownSkinGirl.”

Beyoncé’s strategic use of all-white attire was appreciated by her followers, with comments like, “Bey put on white, winter white, and beige and said yep, I’m definitely Black. My good sis is hilarious.” Some fans even pointed out a zoomed-in shot of Beyoncé’s face, saying, “And gave y’all the zoom in so you can’t play with her complexion!”

The Instagram post came in response to negative remarks about Beyoncé’s appearance at the Renaissance concert film premiere, where some compared her to the Kardashians and criticized her choice of outfit and hairstyle. In defense of her daughter, Tina Knowles posted a lengthy message on Instagram, denouncing the “self-hating racist statements” and emphasizing the theme of the film.

Knowles wrote, “She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?” She expressed frustration with constant attacks on Beyoncé and defended her daughter’s hard work, talent, and resilience.
