Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods have publicly rekindled their friendship at a crucial time for Jenner, who is facing criticism over her latest venture. With the launch of Khy, a clothing brand advocating “creativity, collaboration, and quality at an accessible price,” Jenner faces backlash amidst allegations of design theft. The new line, primarily featuring vegan leather pieces, received PETA’s approval but has sparked controversy for Jenner.

Designer Betsy John took to social media earlier this week, accusing the California native of “stealing” her designs. Venting her frustration on her Instagram Story, John claimed, “INTERESTING CONCEPT KYLIE:…INTERESTING,” and alleged, “We emailed Kylie and all her team @products.ltd concept and language and a line sheet 6 MONTHS AGO.” Expressing disappointment, John further lashed out, “Thanks for the co-sign. F**k your support.”

In an additional emotional appeal, the designer shared a spreadsheet revealing her substantial student loan repayment, nearing $50,000, emphasizing the hard work and dedication she had put into her craft. John, previously associated with Balenciaga and Luis De Javier, acted as a creative director, stylist, and consultant before the alleged dispute with Jenner. While the reality star credited an independent label, Namilia, for co-designing Khy, she has not yet responded to Betsy’s accusations.

This chapter in Kylie Jenner’s life introduces a wave of new developments. Alongside her latest fashion venture, the mother of two is currently enjoying a romantic involvement with Timothee Chalamet. Simultaneously, Jenner and Travis Scott are reported to be “doing their best” in navigating their co-parenting responsibilities amidst these personal changes.
