In a surprising turn of events, 50 Cent seems to be shifting away from his notorious trolling habits, extending an apology to those he may have offended. In an Instagram post on Tuesday (January 16), the rapper hinted at a new direction, expressing a desire to mend fences: “Hey, if I have offended you in any way, I’d like to apologize. We can get more done together; why work against each other?”

Known for taunting rivals like Diddy and Rick Ross, it remains to be seen if 50 Cent’s post is genuine, especially since he mocked Diddy just a day earlier for opting not to attend the 2024 Grammy Awards.

Diddy has been the primary target of 50’s recent jabs, particularly in light of the sexual assault accusations made by his ex-girlfriend Cassie and three other women. Diddy vehemently denies all allegations of sexual assault.

Before the allegations surfaced, 50 Cent criticized Diddy’s parties, saying, “Thatā€™s why I donā€™t be going to them Puffy parties. N-gga hug you from the front and the back at the same time? What you talkinā€™ about?” Despite his history of taunts, 50’s recent post suggests a potential change in approach.

Additionally, 50 Cent brought old rival Rick Ross into the Diddy controversy last month, referencing old Ross lyrics accused of condoning date rape. In an Instagram post, 50 questioned the lyrics from Ross’ 2013 song “U.O.E.N.O.,” where he rapped about putting molly in a woman’s drink without her knowledge.

Beyond the sexual assault allegations, 50 Cent has relentlessly targeted Diddy over the upcoming trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, charged with the 1996 murder of 2Pac. Since Keefe D’s arrest in September, 50 has made posts hinting at speculation that Diddy may have played a role in ‘Pac’s killing. Diddy has consistently denied any involvement in the crime. As 50 Cent explores a potential shift in his approach, observers are curious to see if this marks a lasting change in the rapper’s notorious trolling tactics.
