50 Cent Targets Beam Suntory, Alleging Embezzlement Against Sire Spirits
Despite his ongoing feud with Diddy, 50 Cent has shifted his focus to another target: Beam Suntory, the multi-billion-dollar spirits company. According to reports from AllHipHop, the “Candy Shop” hitmaker has accused Beam Suntory of embezzling millions from his own alcoholic venture, Sire Spirits, and he’s not backing down.
In a warning issued via Instagram on Monday (March 11), 50 Cent made it clear that he’s demanding compensation from Beam Suntory, and he wants it promptly. Posting a clip from Fox5, he captioned it, “Here is a clearer version of the news, @beamsuntory @jimbeamofficial. I’m not the guy you want to get started. In the nicest way, I’m gonna need my money by Monday.” He further emphasized, “These big companies think they can get away with anything. It has cost me millions in legal fees. They are gonna find out I’m not the one you want to play with.”
50 Cent filed a complaint with the New York State Supreme Court, alleging that Beam Suntory was involved in a kickback scheme, overcharging Sire Spirits for liquor and then splitting the difference with the defendants, amounting to an estimated $6 million. According to Fif’s attorney, Chief Commercial Officer Julious Grant “facilitated the entire fraud.” Notably, Sire’s former director of Brand Management, Mitchell Green, previously pleaded guilty to wire fraud for his involvement in the scheme, paying over $6 million in damages after embezzling more than $2 million from employers.
Despite these legal battles, 50 Cent has found success with his BMF series, teasing more spinoff shows in the pipeline. With his track record of success, he continues to attract Hollywood talent eager to collaborate. As the legal proceedings unfold, fans await further updates on 50 Cent’s pursuit of justice against Beam Suntory.
