Recently, authorities apprehended OJ Da Juiceman on charges related to drug and gun possession, sparking reactions from various figures in the rap industry. From calls for his freedom to reflections on the themes of his music, the arrest prompted discussions about the Atlanta-based MC.
Reports indicate that OJ was pulled over for speeding, leading to the alleged discovery of firearms and drugs in his vehicle, despite his previous felony record. Additionally, he faces charges of evidence tampering, as reported by TMZ on March 4. As of now, the status of the case remains unclear.
Amidst this, Sukihana, who had just released a collaborative track with OJ titled “Selling Coochie” on March 6, expressed her dismay over his arrest. Despite their recent success on the charts, Sukihana shared her sadness on Twitter, expressing hopes for his swift return and mentioning plans for joint performances at Rolling Loud.
While Sukihana navigates her own challenges, including a recent altercation with Karlissa Saffold, mother of rapper Blueface, over a television show dispute, fans and collaborators have rallied behind her. Some defended her actions, while others emphasized the strong personalities involved.
For OJ Da Juiceman, this arrest marks his return to the headlines after a period of relative quiet. His previous notable story involved a feud with Waka Flocka Flame and his manager, Deb Antney. The rap community awaits further developments on this latest incident.
