Excitement builds as tickets go on pre-sale on Thursday, January 18, offering fans an early opportunity to secure their spots.
Post Malone, a consistent presence on the festival circuit, is set to headline the Bonnaroo 2024 lineup from June 13 to 16 in Manchester, TN. Joining him on stage will be Megan Thee Stallion, Joey Bada$$, and other stellar acts. Festival-goers can grab their tickets now on the official Bonnaroo website.
SZA’s fans can anticipate an unforgettable experience, especially during her performance of the chart-topping hit “Snooze,” which spent the entirety of 2023 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track, peaking at No. 2 in October, became SZA’s second-highest charting song, following the No. 1 hit “Kill Bill,” awarded as HipHopDX’s Best R&B Song of 2023.
The success of “Snooze” and the accompanying album, SOS, hasn’t come without challenges for SZA. In a recent interview with Zane Lowe ahead of her Apple Music Live performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, the TDE singer candidly discussed the pressures and expectations she faces, acknowledging the impact on her interactions with others.
Reflecting on the overwhelming experience, she shared, “I realized as of recent a lot of this [expletive] is not normal. I didn’t know how to process that experience and I was having a lot of lashing out and a lot of frustration — a lot of opinions, a lot of entitlement to your space, a lot of entitlement to your time, a lot of expectation, and no one is understanding, in the realm of being like ‘Why?'”
Expressing the challenges of dealing with public perception, she added, “It actually makes me on edge and not a kind person because of the anxiety of wondering like how people — there’s so much perceiving going on. But these people don’t know you.” SZA acknowledged the struggle to maintain her desired demeanor, saying, “So, it’s like, oh my God, I’m not the person I want to be right now. Because I’m not kind, calm, and relaxed, and patient.”
