Boosie Badazz Shares Thoughts on Keefe D’s Arrest and Dwight Howard in Recent Interview
Renowned for his long-standing admiration for 2Pac, Boosie Badazz recently discussed the arrest of alleged Pac killer Keefe D in an interview released on Tuesday (October 31).
Speaking with VladTV, the Baton Rouge rapper expressed his surprise about Keefe’s arrest, initially assuming that the accused killer had immunity due to his previous statements. However, Vlad clarified that the granted immunity only protected statements made at the specific time of immunity grant, making subsequent statements admissible against him.
Boosie’s reaction to the arrest stemmed from his prior lack of awareness about this legal detail, sharing, “[I was] kind of [surprised] because [Keefe D] been talking about it. And I thought when he got busted or whatever, that he had immunity. So when he got arrested, I was like, immunity must be gone… I thought he’d never get arrested for it.”
In the interview, Boosie also weighed in on the Dwight Howard sexual assault lawsuit, focusing on Howard’s admission in related documents regarding a sexual encounter with another man. Despite his prior criticisms of openly gay figures like Lil Nas X, Boosie suggested that Howard should openly address his sexuality, believing it might enhance, not hinder, his career.
Encouraging Howard to be forthcoming, Boosie remarked, “He’ll probably make more money than what he’s making. He’s tall — he’ll be like the statue [of the LGBTQ community]. I would tell him confess to the press. Stop playing. If you like what you like! This ain’t 1990. You’re not gonna be banned from certain things.”
Boosie highlighted the potential for backlash but also emphasized the changing societal acceptance, urging Howard to embrace his truth without fear of repercussions.
