Reality TV personality Evelyn Lozada has firmly stated that she has no interest in dating sports commentator Stephen A. Smith, citing past negative comments he made during her previous relationship with former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson. Lozada expressed her sentiments during an interview with The Jason Lee Show when presented with the idea of a hypothetical date with Smith.
Lozada explained that Smith had spoken negatively about her relationship with Johnson, making her feel diminished during a challenging time. Recalling the difficult period, she highlighted the impact of Smith’s comments on her well-being. Lozada stated, “He was one of the main people that made me feel this small. He was very negative, and it was difficult.”
Addressing the hypothetical scenario, Lozada concluded, “So, yeah, I would never date him. Even outside of that, I would never date him, period.” She admitted that Smith’s past remarks still come to mind whenever he appears in the news.
The background to this involves Johnson’s arrest in 2012 on charges of domestic battery, with Smith previously questioning Lozada’s role in the incident during a controversial discussion.
