Jamaican sensation Konshens has set Ugandan social media abuzz with anticipation as he dropped subtle hints about his imminent return to the vibrant Pearl Of Africa. On Wednesday, the Grammy-nominated artist took to Twitter, sharing the cryptic message “Tujja Tujja” (translated as “We Are Coming”), accompanied by two Ugandan flags.
The post sparked excitement in Ugandan cyberspace, drawing enthusiastic responses from fans, including Azawi, his recent collaborator on the chart-topping track “Summer Bae.”
Speculation is swirling about the purpose of Konshens’ visit, with rumors suggesting a potential headlining performance at the upcoming Blankets And Wine festival and talks of a show-stopping New Year’s Eve event.
The reggae and dancehall icon’s return is highly anticipated, with Ugandans eagerly awaiting his third performance in the +256. Konshens, no stranger to Ugandan stages, last graced the country in 2015 at Lugogo Cricket Oval, sharing the spotlight with Busy Signal.
As official details about the upcoming event remain awaited, one thing is certain – Konshens’ return is poised to ignite the Ugandan entertainment scene once again, continuing his legacy of memorable performances in the East African nation.
