In a despicable turn of events, the police and military have today unleashed a savage attack on Hon. Susan Mugabi Nakaziba, the esteemed Woman Member of Parliament for Buvuma District and a leading member of the National Unity Platform. This heinous act of gruesome violence has left her in a critical condition, fighting for her life as she lays incapacitated in a hospital bed. Despite the tireless efforts of medical professionals, she remains unable to speak or even recognize her surroundings, The doctors attending to her have confirmed that the injuries she sustained are a direct result of the horrific chemicals that were barbarically sprayed on her by the police and military.

This shameful incident took place as Hon. Nakaziba was preparing to celebrate Women’s Day in her district, an event that she had worked tirelessly to organize. However, the callous and heartless orders of the RDC resulted in the military and police viciously attacking not only her, but also other leaders and innocent civilians who had gathered to partake in the festivities.
