The Special Forces Command (SFC) construction regiment assures the public of efficient and quality road maintenance in Kampala, emphasizing their commitment to cost-effective and timely completion.

Lt Eng. Kikomeko Kigongo, the assistant project manager, states that they have completed 35% of the scope in two weeks, with over 40% progress in Kampala Central.

The directive for road repairs came from President Museveni in response to public outcry over the deteriorating road conditions, urging collaboration with the SFC Construction Regiment.

Despite challenges such as heavy rains, poor drainage, and traffic, the SFC engineers express confidence in finishing the works within the agreed 45-day timeframe.
