Miley Cyrus emerged triumphant, claiming the Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance awards for her chart-topping single, “Flowers.” Billie Eilish, known for her impactful contributions to the music world, secured the Song of the Year award for “What Was I Made For,” featured in the blockbuster film “Barbie.”

However, the night’s success for rapper Killer Mike, who took home three rap trophies, was overshadowed by an apparent backstage altercation. The rapper was subsequently taken into custody by police and booked for misdemeanor battery.

India’s legendary Fusion band, Shakti, also basked in glory as they received the award for Best Global Music Album for their latest work, “This Moment.” Comprising musicians Shankar Mahadevan and Ustad Zakir Hussein, Shakti’s win added an international flair to the prestigious event.

The evening kicked off with a high-energy performance by Dua Lipa, setting the stage for an unforgettable night.
