Boosie Badazz is setting his sights on the 2025 Super Bowl, scheduled to take place in his home state of Louisiana, specifically in New Orleans. Following in the footsteps of fellow Louisiana native Lil Wayne, Boosie hopes to make a memorable appearance at the prestigious event, albeit in a different capacity.
In a recent tweet/X post, Boosie expressed his desire to be brought out as a special guest performer during the Super Bowl festivities. “SUPERBOWL N NEW ORLEANS 2025! WHOEVER PERFORMS SHOULD BRING ME OUT N ITS A WRAP!! IM GO KILL IT #facts,” he wrote, showcasing his enthusiasm for the opportunity.
During an Instagram Live session on Monday (February 19), Boosie reiterated his eagerness to be part of the Super Bowl lineup. Responding to a fan’s question about whether he would perform if asked, Boosie confidently affirmed, “Do dogs bark? Do dogs take shits? What you think? Them people call me for the Super Bowl, I’ma already be on Canal St.”
Boosie’s aspirations come after Lil Wayne voiced his own desire to headline the Super Bowl halftime show. Lil Wayne expressed the significance of such an achievement for artists, emphasizing that it transcends sports and holds a special place in the music industry.
Despite already achieving significant milestones in his career, including performances at the Grammys and his own Lil Weezyana Fest, Lil Wayne revealed that performing at the Super Bowl remains a top goal. He received support from former NFL star Deion Sanders, who pledged to advocate for Wayne’s halftime performance during next year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans.
With both Boosie Badazz and Lil Wayne vying for a spot on the Super Bowl stage, it’s evident that Louisiana artists are eager to leave their mark on one of the biggest events in entertainment. As anticipation builds for the 2025 Super Bowl, fans eagerly await further developments regarding the lineup and potential special guest appearances.
