Last year, DJ Khaled hinted at an upcoming album but remained tight-lipped on details. The focus shifted to his single “SUPPOSED TO BE LOVED,” featuring the powerhouse trio of Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, and Future, which has amassed over 12.5 million Spotify streams. Fans eagerly awaiting news on Khaled’s full album received an update this week.
Taking to Instagram, Khaled shared a video featuring him and Travis Scott vibing in the studio. The clip lacks audio, leaving the actual song a mystery. Khaled’s caption, “Soon as I played the beat la fame 🔥 said turn mic 🎤 on, of course I agreed. New album in works @wethebest FANLUV WORLDWIDE 🌍 CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE THIS NEW ALBUM EXPERIENCE WITH YOU,” offers little insight into the album’s timeline. Despite the lack of details, fans are thrilled that the project is still in progress.
In a recent development, DJ Khaled was unveiled as a judge for the second season of the talent competition “Rhythm + Flow,” joining Latto and Ludacris on the judging panel. Eminem is set to make a special guest appearance in this season, following the footsteps of Cardi B and Chance The Rapper from the previous season.
Known for rubbing shoulders with music’s biggest stars, Khaled was recently seen shooting hoops with Drake, his frequent collaborator, in a basketball session captured on Instagram.
