Drake finds himself at the center of fan taunts following Kendrick Lamar’s recent diss aimed at the Toronto rapper on the track “Like That.” As Drake was leaving a hotel, a fan confronted him, referencing Lamar’s verse in the diss track. In a circulating clip on social media, the fan can be heard saying, “Yo Drake, Kendrick is better, bro!” Despite the interruption, Drake remained composed, ignoring the comment as he continued signing autographs before entering his car.
The diss track “Like That” is featured on Metro Boomin and Future’s collaborative album, “We Don’t Trust You.” In addition to targeting Drake, Lamar also takes aim at J. Cole in his verse. The lyrics reference fans categorizing all three artists as the top figures in hip-hop.
Lamar’s verse includes lines like, “Sneak dissin’, first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches,” alluding to Cole and Drake’s collaboration “First Person Shooter.” He further asserts his dominance in the rap game, dismissing the notion of a “big three” and emphasizing his individual prowess.
Despite the tension between Drake and Lamar, it’s worth noting that Lamar has collaborated with both Drake and Cole on numerous occasions in the past. The history of collaboration adds layers of complexity to the ongoing feud between the artists.
