Ice Spice has swiftly dispelled rumors about a potential pregnancy after a photo she shared online ignited speculation. The Bronx rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday night (January 22) to post a picture of herself in a revealing outfit that showcased her midriff.

Fans quickly took to social media to express curiosity and concern, questioning whether Ice Spice might be pregnant based on what appeared to be a rounded stomach. Comments such as “Wait, is she pregnant for real?” and “Who got yo girl preggo?” flooded the post, accompanied by speculation about a potential baby bump.

Within a few hours of posting the controversial photo, Ice Spice directly addressed the rumors with a straightforward response to her 2.2 million followers: “Nobody pregnant, n-ggas just phat.”

In a separate legal development, Ice Spice faced a lawsuit earlier this month, accused of allegedly stealing her hit single “In Ha Mood.” New York rapper D.Chamberz claims that she copied the beat, lyrics, hook, rhyme structure, metrical placement, and narrative from his January 2022 track “In That Mood.” Chamberz asserts that he created the song a year before Ice Spice released “In Ha Mood” in January 2023, featured on her debut EP Like..?.

Chamberz speculates that Ice Spice and her producer RiotUSA might have heard his song since he worked as a DJ in New York City, playing it on the radio. Seeking half of the publishing rights to the song, along with other revenues and damages for copyright infringement, Chamberz has taken legal action against Ice Spice in the ongoing dispute.
